What's New or Changed in 4.5
Version 4.5 adds the following new features and enhancements for Command 360:
Add Appliances
Admins can add and initialize video processors or CineAgent appliances into an existing system. |
Remove Appliances
You can remove appliances from an existing Command 360 system. They do not need to be online, and a new security certificate is not required. |
VPX Ready
References to Alpha FX in the user interface have been changed to Video Processors. |
Canvas Linking
Canvas linking allows for larger video walls by joining multiple configured GPU outputs (canvases) into a single canvas. |
Dynamic Assets
Rotate content from up to four assets without creating a Behavior. A dynamic asset, created within an activity, must include assets from the same activity. When placed on a display, the dynamic asset cycles through assets continuously until paused or removed. |
Dynamic Layouts
Group up to 4 standard layouts together and cycle through them at a fixed interval. When applied to a display, the dynamic layout begins its rotation automatically and continues until it is paused or removed. |
Layout Audio Settings
When saving or updating a layout, there is now an option to save the current audio source, volume, and microphone settings with the layout. Whenever the layout is applied, audio settings are applied as well. This feature is on by default for primary displays and can be enabled for auxiliary displays as well. |
Support Information
On the General tab of the Site Settings page, there is a new field titled Support Information. Here, admins can provide contact information that is visible to anyone using the system. Click the help icon on the site banner to access support information. |
Simplified Display Creation
Creating and managing displays has been moved from being a standalone page in the Admin interface to being done within a Room. |
Active User Table
A new tab on the Account Management page lists all currently active users along with their role, access groups, sign in time, and session duration. |
Asset Properties
In the Admin interface, multiple menu items (including device control) have been consolidated into a single asset properties page. |
CineLink & AD1 Discovery
The CineLink and Command 360 AD1 discovery process now runs on demand rather than continuously. |
