What's New for 1.7
The Makito X4 Decoder Version 1.7 introduces the following new features and enhancements to existing capabilities:
SMPTE ST 2110 Output
The Makito X4 Decoder can now output SMPTE ST 2110 compliant content containing active video, audio and ancillary metadata through its SFP+ port. SMPTE ST 2110 is a licensed feature, and the decoder Personality must be set to ST 2110. |
PTP Based Genlock
ST 2110 outputs use Precision Time Protocol (PTP) to synchronize essences with the local time at the Decoder's location. PTP references adhere to ST 2110-10 / SMPTE 2059 standards. |
NMOS Support
The Makito X4 Decoder now supports AMWA NMOS IS-04, IS-05 and IS-09 specifications when configured for SMPTE ST 2110 inputs. |
Dolby SDK & ATMOS Support
The Makito X4 Decoder now uses Dolby SDK to decode and process Dolby Digital AC3, Dolby Digital Plus E-AC3, and Dolby ATMOS audio. |
FIPS 140-3 Support
The WolfSSL engine has been updated to support FIPS 140-3. |
Help Center Update
A new Help Center experience is available across Haivision products. |
