Review these tips and recommendations if you are having issues with your accounts.
Account Roles
If you are a user or an operator who cannot access your account for the first time, contact your administrator. Upon shipment, the user and operator accounts must be unlocked by an administrator.
The administrator must also change the passwords for the user/operator accounts when they are first unlocked.
If you are having trouble with access, an administrator may need to switch your account role. The Makito FX has three pre-defined account roles, as shown below. Certain privileges are assigned to specific roles.

Guest | user | Read-only access to the system. |
Operator | operator | All rights to configure A/V and stream settings. Does not include rights to reboot or upgrade the system, modify the network settings, or manage accounts. |
Administrator | admin | All access rights and Administrator privileges. |
Account Recovery
Factory Resets and Firmware Downgrades restore the default accounts and passwords.
You cannot recover your custom account information after a Factory Reset or Firmware Downgrade. Before performing either of these tasks, ensure that you have recorded the information for any accounts you wish to reconfigure afterwards.
