Stream-Play Settings

The following table lists the Quick and Advanced stream play controls and settings.

The streaming mode. These values change depending on the stream type. 

  • For SRT streams, options are: Caller, Listener, or Rendezvous
  • For UDP streams, options are: Unicast or Multicast 
Local AddressN/A

The local IP address of the computer on which Play ISR is installed.

Note

Ensure that this address is identified as the Destination Address in the source stream settings. 

Port5000

The destination port (i.e. the port on the player side). Values can be 1...65535.

Note

Ensure that this port matches the Destination Port in the source stream settings. 

Latency20The desired stream latency. Values can be 20...8000.
EncryptionDisabledEnable this feature to encrypt the stream with a passphrase. 
PassphraseN/AWhen Encryption is enabled, enter a passphrase to enhance the stream's security. LENGTH/CHARACTERS TBD
Stream URLN/A

The URL of the stream you wish to play. This setting is mandatory in the Quick play and Advanced play settings.

Play ISR supports both SRT and UDP streams configured with IPv4 or IPv6. ??? 

Add to Saved StreamsDisabledEnable to save this stream to your video player. This setting is available in the Quick play and Advanced play settings.
Stream NameN/AWhen Add to Saved Streams is enabled, type in a unique name for the stream here. This will identify the stream among the saved streams in your video player.
