clock

The clock command is used to manage SMPTE ST 2110 synchronization on the encoder.

Note

SMPTE ST 2110 must be licensed on the encoder, and the encoder personality set to ST 2110.

Synopsis

clock set parameter=value [parameter=value...]
clock get [config, stats, all]

Actions

Action	Description
set	Configures ST 2110 synchronization settings. A series of one or more parameter=value pairs can be specified at once. See Parameters below.
get	Displays ST 2110 synchronization information.

Parameters

Parameter	Default	Description/Values
mode	ts_conv	Specifies the timestamp mode for the ST 2110 synchronization: ts_conv: Timestamps for the video/audio/ancillary data are directly taken from the sources and streamed exactly as is. Recommended to use in a good environment where PTP is working well and all devices are synchronized properly. restamp: Timestamps are generated locally by the Makito X for the video/audio/ancillary data. Recommended to use in situations (such as a demo) where the networking is not ideal, the system cannot achieve PTP lock, but you still want to be able to use ST 2110. Note The default PTP domain number is 127. You may change this by using the ptp command to replace the `domainnumber` parameter with a value in the range 1..127.
