What's New for 1.4

Version 1.4 introduces the following new features and enhancements for the Makito X1 Rugged Encoder: 

• Scene Change Detection: Users can now enable Scene Change Detection to improve the appearance of content transitions.

• Slice-based Video Capture: In addition to slice-based encoding, the Makito X1 encoder now supports slice-based video capture for an even lower end-to-end latency.

• Linear PCM Audio: The Makito X1 Encoder can now pass-through raw 16-bit Linear PCM audio for virtually lossless audio transmission.

• Dolby Pass-Through: The Makito X1 Encoder can now pass Dolby AC3 and E-AC3 audio from the input to the stream output.

• Surround Sound Audio: This version can group and encode up to 7.1 audio channels as per MPEG Surround audio ISO/IEC 23003-1 standard.
