Routes Pane

The Routes pane of the Master Control screen displays the available receivers and associated route tiles.

The Status Filter icon Status Filter button allows you to make the number of tiles more manageable by changing the selections on the dropdown menu to display only the selected route status.

The Groups Filter icon Groups Filter buttons allow you to make the number of tiles more manageable by changing the selections on the dropdown menu to display only the selected route status or groups.

The Receivers Dropdown allows you to select which receivers are shown in the routes pane. The number identifies how many receivers that are currently displayed. For example, "1/4 Receivers" indicates one of the four connected receivers is displayed.

You can also use the Search icon Search Textbox to find the receivers you desire. Select an appliance label or type a string in the text box and press the Enter key. For each additional string or label you enter an AND operation is performed by the search.

The Receiver Toolbar is the left vertical bar and its associated route tiles appear to the right.

  • The receiver toolbar provides the receiver name and quick stats on  processor,  memory, and  disk usage.

  • Clicking the Remote control icon icon opens another browser tab to directly access the receiver's web interface.

  • Clicking the Appliances icon icon takes you to the receiver on the Appliances page.

Route Tiles are assigned to the inputs of the receivers. The Route tiles consist of a thumbnail preview (if Live) and a variety of controls and status information. See the following section for more details.

There are small differences in the route tile between the StreamHub and Makito decoder devices. See the information in the following tabs for samples of each device. See Using Master Control for more details.

Route Status

Colored bar indicates the current status of the route.

Green Live, File Forward (StreamHubs only), or Record (StreamHubs only)
Blue Running (but not Live)
Yellow Warning
Gray Inactive/Offline
Red Error

If the route is currently Live, File Forwarding, or Recording, a corresponding status box appears under the bar: Status Live, Status Forward, or Status Record.

If data bridge is enabled on a transmitter and the connection is assigned to the StreamHub, a

Source Icon and Name

Shows the type of source, the input number (Makito only), and the source name. When route is disabled, clicking the source names opens a dropdown to select the route source.

Route Name

Editable only on StreamHub, Cloud StreamHub, and Makito X4 Decoder version 1.7+

Talkback Enable button (StreamHub only)

Enables or disables talkback for the route, if applicable.

Start/Stop Record button (StreamHub only)

Click the Not recording button to start recording the source. Click the Recording button to stop the record.

Expand Route Details button

Click the

Assigned output (StreamHub and Makito only)

Icon definition depends on receiver type:

Shows the assigned output number and protocol. If multiple outputs/protocols are used, then a

The color of the icon changes to red if there is an error with one of the outputs:

Makito Decoder

Indicates which SDI output is in use by the route.

More Options (StreamHub and Makito only)

Click the More Options button to show more options for the route, allowing you to rename and edit the selected route.
