Presets
Review these tips and recommendations if you are having issues with your preset configurations.
Presets do not include System Administration (e.g., Network) or Security settings.
Preset Auto-Save is enabled by default. This feature is designed to help users who have not saved their configurations into presets, to prevent loss of configuration settings when signing out or rebooting or the power is disconnected on their units. If you disable Preset Auto-Save, you will have to manually save your preset configurations.
Amber warning indications: if an amber warning indication has appeared next to the Device Presets dropdown indicates that there are unsaved configurations. This can only appear if Auto-Save is disabled.
Unsaved Configuration Warning: If Auto-Save is disabled upon import of a new preset with unsaved changes, you will receive an unsaved configuration warning. You may choose to Cancel the import, Import without Save, or Save and Import.
