Step 1: Installation and Setup

The installation and setup instructions for a Makito X Series encoder or decoder are detailed in the associated documents listed under "References" in Introduction. 

When installing and setting up a Makito X Series device to bring it a secured state, the following restrictions apply:

  • The device should not initially be connected to a network.

  • Some hardening commands must be issued using the Command Line Interface.
