Metadata List View

The Metadata List View displays a summary of defined metadata sources for Kraken, including the Source Name, Type (Input Method), Data Format (KLV or CoT), and Parameters (Network Settings) for each source. It also provides an option for you to delete a source.

Web Interface

To access the Metadata List View:

  1. Select Streaming from the sidebar, and go to the Metadata tab.
    The Metadata List View opens, as shown in the following example:
  2. From here you can perform the following tasks: 
    • To add a metadata source, click the Add Metadata button.
    • To modify the sort order, click the Sort dropdown menu. The default is set to sort by Name, in Ascending order. 
    • To search for specific metadata sources, click the Search icon 
       and type in key words to identify the source. If no related metadata source is found, the search page will return No Search Results. 
    • To view details or modify the settings for a metadata source, click the parameters icon
      on the far right of the panel. See Metadata Settings.
    • To view the transcoder's corresponding stream name and status, click the Streams icon
       on the transcoder panel.
    • To delete one or multiple metadata source(s), check the checkbox(es) of the metadata source(s) you want to delete, and click the Delete button at the top of the list.
  3. To apply your changes, click Apply.
Mobile Interface

To access the Metadata List View:

  1. Tap
     to open the sidebar. 
  2. Go to Streaming > Metadata.
    The Metadata List view opens, as shown in the following example.
  3. From here you can perform the following tasks: 
    • To add a metadata source, tap the Add button.
    • To search for specific metadata sources, click the Search icon 
       and type in key words to identify the source. If no related metadata source is found, the search page will return No Search Results. 
    • To modify the sort order, tap the Sort icon 
       
      and select the desired sorting options. The default is set to sort by Name, in Ascending order.  
    • To delete one or multiple metadata source(s), tap the Select icon 
      , select the metadata instance(s) you wish to delete, then tap Actions > Delete.
    • To view/configure metadata information, corresponding streams, or settings, tap the More Options menu 
       on any metadata source panel. For details, see Configuring Metadata Parameters and Metadata Settings 
  4. To apply your changes, click Apply.
