Modifying Network Security Rules

You must open ports on your virtual network to allow video streams between your HMP and Media Gateways and for other HMP services. See the Haivision Security Guide available on the Support Portal for the specific network requirements.

1. In the instance details, select the Security tab and click the name of the security group.

   

2. For the Inbound rules tab, click Edit inbound rules.

3. Click Add rule and create the necessary rule.

   

4. Click Save rules.

5. Click the Outbound rules tab, and click Edit outbound rules.

6. Repeat steps 3-4 for any necessary outbound rules.

It takes a few moments to deploy the rule for your instance.
