Video Information

The following tables list the properties you can view and modify in the Video information dialog.

<Session name>

A name to identify the video in the Videos list and viewer.

(Optional) Information that describes the video.

Video Expiry

Check this checkbox to override the Default Video Expiry set by your system administrator (which specifies the number of days after which videos will expire and be deleted).

  • Check "Override Global Settings (Keep Forever)" to override the Default Video Expiry for this video. When checked, you can select either "Keep Forever" or specify the expiry date.
  • When left unchecked, this video will expire and be deleted as specified by the Default Video Expiry.

Import Metadata


Click Browse to choose an XML file (from an HMP Export) to replace the video information and metadata.

(Optional) To assign metadata to the video, select a metadata key and select one or more values or (where allowed) type in custom values.

Note

Metadata must be pre-defined by your system administrator.

System Default Metadatacreator

Allows you to remove the default metadata that is added by the system when a video is created. For example, when the creator metadata is enabled, the name of the user who created the video appears below the player:
