Launching the Web Interface
The web interface allows you to:
Configure the unit
Start/stop lives
You can access the Web interface using an Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection. You can also access it from your smartphone.
Note
Default credentials are provided by the Important Notice card delivered with the unit.
From the unit panel Home screen, tap
until you reach the Networks screen.
In the Ethernet line, the IP address assigned to the unit is displayed (by default in DHCP mode).Launch a web browser on your computer and enter the unit IP address and append "
:8888" to it. Example:10.50.1.139:8888
The sign-in screen opens:
Enter the username and password.
If this is your first sign-in to the transmitter, you are prompted to change the default password. Enter a new password following the recommendations in the New Password field and click the Change button.
Change Password
The web interface opens:
From the Unit Panel, configure the unit as a Wi-Fi Access Point (seeConfiguring a Wi-Fi Interface for details).
On your Wi-Fi client device (computer, notebook, smartphone), go to the Wi-Fi settings menu, and select the access point that you configured.
Enter the password that you defined.
In a web browser, enter the unit URL:
http://192.168.30.10:8888(default IP address if it has not been changed).
The sign-in screen opens:Enter the username and password.
If this is your first sign-in to the transmitter, you are prompted to change the default password. Enter a new password following the recommendations in the New Password field and click the Change button.
Change Password
The unit's web interface opens.
Important
When using an Android Smartphone, make sure you disabled Mobile Data management before starting.
From the Home screen, tap
until the following screen appears:
Tap GET STARTED.
Use your Smartphone’s scanning function to scan the QR Code displayed.
Press Connect on the phone interface. It connects the Smartphone to the Wi-Fi Access Point of the device.
Tap I’M CONNECTED on the device’s screen.
With your Smartphone, scan the second QR Code displayed and press Open on the browser.
Enter the username and the password to open the Falkon interface.
Note
The default username and password are indicated on the Important Notice card delivered with the device.
Please note that for the first connection, you are prompted to modify the default password.
