Getting a Report File

The Haivision support team may ask that you email a Report File to help them in investigating any unexpected behaviors. To generate a report from the Unit Panel or from the Web Interface, see the tabs below:

Unit Panel
  1. From the Home screen, tap AR_arrow_right_thin.png until the Advanced Settings menu appears.

  2. Tap AR_settings.png > Generate Report.

  3. Tap the GENERATE REPORT button.

A report is generated. It is accessible from the Web Interface. See the Settings menu to download the Report file.

Web Interface
  1. In the sidebar, click Settings.

  2. Click the Reports tab.

  3. Click the Generate button to create a new report.

  4. After the report is generated, click the Download icon icon next to the new report to download it.

  5. The report file (.bin) is downloaded by your browser.

  6. Attach the .bin file to an email in which you explain the issue you are facing and send it to our support team via the Haivision Support Portal.
