Launching the Web Interface

The web interface allows you to:

  • Configure the unit

  • Start/stop lives

  • Start/stop records

  • Forward stored files

To access the Web interface, use an Ethernet connection or a Wi-Fi connection.

Note

Default credentials are provided by the Important Notice Card delivered with the unit.

  1. From the unit panel Home menu, tap Networks. The screen displays the IP address assigned to the unit (by default in DHCP mode).

  2. Launch a web browser on your computer and enter the unit IP address and append ":8888" to it. Example: 10.50.1.139:8888

  1. Enter the username and password.

  2. If this is your first sign-in to the transmitter, you are prompted to change the default password. Enter a new password following the recommendations in the New Password field and click the Change button.

Wi-Fi
  1. From the Unit Panel, configure the unit as a Wi-Fi Access Point (see Configuring a Wi-Fi Interface for details).

  2. On your Wi-Fi client device (computer, notebook, smartphone), go to the Wi-Fi settings menu, and select the access point that you configured.

  3. Enter the password that you defined.

  4. In a web browser, enter the unit URL: http://192.168.30.10:8888 (default IP address if it has not been changed).

  5. Enter the username and password.

  6. If this is your first sign-in to the transmitter, you are prompted to change the default password. Enter a new password following the recommendations in the New Password field and click the Change button.
